Postponement of Final Project Deadlines

Because of the delay of end term exam, the deadline of final project report and presentation slide submission has been extended till 30th November, 2010. All the group members will have their presentation on 1st December, 2010 (Wed) starting from 0700 hours.

Impact of deferment of end term exam on final project

Dear Students,

Because of deferment of end term exam, you will have almost no time (only 2 days) after the exam for the slides and report to submit. However, it is not possible to postpone the presentation date since the final exam is approaching soon. Therefore, it is recommended to exercise/work on your final project before the exam.

Terminal Exam I

Dear students,

You might have already started preparing for the exam which is commencing from this Friday. Hope you are enjoying your exam preparation. I have some few suggestions and recommendations to you for making your exam the best one so that you all will come up with flying colors.

I recommend you to give to the point answer to each of the questions instead of writing jargon/unnecessary content. Please do not repeat the same language/content in many places. You will be marked on the basis of number of points given to address the questions instead of writing long answer and ending up with meaningless one. Give plenty of examples to support your statements and be concise, descriptive and clear. If you can express your points via diagrams, then it is also impressive. It is not necessary that the diagram should be exactly the same from the book. However, your concept of the diagram should be realistic.

Soft-copy report submission

Students I haven't received soft copy report of the case studies in time from all groups except group 4. It will act as a means to check for the plagiarism. It is compulsory to submit in time since it also affects your marks ultimately.

Case Study Report

It is to make clear to all students that you need to submit soft copy report as well as presentation slide which is due on the day before of your presentation date. You may submit the hard copy report as well as presentation slide on the presentation day. You may be assuming the hard copy of presentation slide as a report. However, it is not so. The content should be written in your own format. Please be aware of plagiarism :)

Notice

The students who have their case presentations on Sunday are requested to come some few minutes earlier (ie before 7) so that you may copy your presentation slides beforehand in the notebook we have in the class. It is also reminded that the presentation slide and report are due on Saturday midnight for Group 1 and 2; and accordingly to other groups on the basis of presentation dates.
